The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro are Samsung’s flagship true wireless earbuds, launched in January 2021 as the successor to the Galaxy Buds Live . These premium earbuds combine a stylish design with high-end features including intelligent active noise cancellation (ANC), 360 Audio with head tracking, and IPX7 water resistance—making them the most advanced Galaxy Buds of their generation.
Featuring a coaxial 2-way speaker system co-engineered with AKG, the Buds Pro deliver rich, balanced sound with an 11mm woofer for powerful bass and a 6.5mm tweeter for crisp, distortion-free treble . The custom-built drivers span a wide frequency range, reproducing everything from deep sub-bass to sparkling highs with remarkable clarity.
Intelligent Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) uses three built-in microphones to monitor and cancel external noise, filtering out up to 99% of background noise . With two adjustable levels (High and Low), you can customize the ANC intensity to match your environment—maximum cancellation on a noisy bus or reduced filtering in a quiet library.
Perhaps the most innovative feature is Voice Detect, which uses a voice pickup unit (VPU) to sense when you’re speaking and automatically switches from ANC to Ambient mode while lowering media volume . This allows natural conversations without removing your earbuds, with the buds seamlessly returning to ANC mode after you stop talking.
The ergonomic design has been fine-tuned through extensive ear shape research, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for all-day wear . Air vents balance ear pressure and increase airflow, reducing that “plugged-up” feeling common with sealed in-ear monitors.
